Careers

Build a technical career where your judgement counts

We hire engineers, technicians and chemists who prefer to be right rather than agreeable — and we structure the organisation so that is possible.

Why join us

What we offer technical professionals

Independence, accreditation and consequence — the three things that make inspection work worth doing well.

Technical judgement is respected

Inspectors and analysts are supported when they raise findings — including findings that are commercially inconvenient. Independence is a contractual obligation, not a slogan.

Work that carries consequence

Our reports release pressure equipment into service, clear cargoes for shipment and close out capital projects. The standard of your work is visible and material.

Accredited environment

You operate inside ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 management systems, with calibrated instrumentation and documented methods rather than improvisation.

International exposure

Vendor surveillance and cargo assignments span the Caspian region, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with rotational and project-based assignments available.

Company culture

How we behave when it is inconvenient

Culture in a testing, inspection and certification business is measured by what happens when a result is unwelcome.

  1. 01

    Integrity before revenue

No result is adjusted to suit a client, a schedule or a contract value. Escalation routes exist and are used.

  2. 02

    Evidence over opinion

Positions are argued from data, calibration status and standards text — seniority does not override measurement.

  3. 03

    Collective competence

Field, laboratory and quality functions review each other's work as a matter of routine, not exception.

  4. 04

    Respect for the operating site

We are guests on client assets. Housekeeping, permits and interfaces are managed to the same standard as our technical work.

Our people

Careers built here, not bought in

I joined as a graduate chemist on the wet-chemistry bench. Today I own our ICP-OES trace metals scope and sign results under our accreditation. The method training was funded from the first year.

Aygul Berdiyeva

Senior Analytical Chemist

7 years with the company

Stop-work authority is real here. I have halted a weld-out on a live project and the response from management was to ask what evidence I needed, not how fast we could resume.

Dmitri Kalashnik

Lead NDT Technician, PAUT / TOFD

11 years with the company

Rotating between vendor surveillance in Europe and site work in Turkmenistan gave me a view of the full supply chain that no single-site role would have offered.

Selin Orazova

QA/QC Engineer, Capital Projects

5 years with the company

Graduate & internship

Entry routes into technical practice

Structured programmes that move graduates from supervised work to authorised competence on a defined timetable.

Graduate Inspection Programme

A 24-month structured rotation across third-party inspection, vendor surveillance and quality assurance, with funded progression toward CSWIP or equivalent certification.

Graduate Laboratory Programme

An 18-month analytical rotation across chemical, mechanical and metallurgical benches, culminating in authorised-signatory competence within a defined accredited scope.

Technical Internships

Twelve-week placements for engineering, chemistry and materials science students, with supervised project work that contributes to live method development.

Apprentice Technician Pathway

Vocational entry route combining on-the-job supervision with formal instruction in NDT fundamentals, metrology and quality systems.

Professional development

Competence is funded, not assumed

Certification pathways, method training and re-qualification are paid for and scheduled into working time.

01Certification funded

PCN, CSWIP, ASNT, NACE and IRCA certification fees, preparation courses and re-qualification are paid for and scheduled into working time.

02Competence framework

Each discipline has defined competence levels with observable criteria; progression is assessed on evidence, not tenure.

03Method and instrument training

Instrument-specific training is delivered by manufacturers as part of every capital acquisition.

04Technical mentorship

Every new joiner is paired with an authorised signatory or lead technician for a structured first year.

05Internal secondments

Movement between field, laboratory, metrology and quality functions is actively encouraged.

06Leadership development

Programme and account leadership training for technical staff moving into supervisory roles.

Health, safety & wellbeing

Safety is non-negotiable

Our people work on live plant, at height, offshore and with hazardous substances. The controls reflect that.

  1. 01

    Stop-work authority

Held by every individual on site, exercisable without escalation or justification after the fact.

  2. 02

    ISO 45001 management system

Hazard identification, permit control and incident investigation operate under an audited framework.

  3. 03

    Fitness and medical surveillance

Role-based medicals, exposure monitoring and hearing and respiratory surveillance for field and laboratory staff.

  4. 04

    Fatigue and rotation control

Working-hour limits and rotation schedules are enforced for shutdown, offshore and marine assignments.

  5. 05

    Mental health support

Confidential counselling access and trained mental-health first-aiders across all locations.

  6. 06

    Field welfare standards

Accommodation, transport and PPE provision are specified and audited, not left to project discretion.
